Following the latest government advice regarding the coronavirus, the dojo leaders for Reading, Sanshukan and Shoshinkai have agreed that we cannot practice as normal, nor can we we adhere to “social distancing” in kendo sessions. In light of this, all 3 dojos are suspended with immediate effect. The closure will provisionally run to the end

Starting Saturday 29 February and running for 8 weeks, our next beginners course is now open for registration! Courses are designed to take attendees to a point where they can wear armour and take part in the regular sessions. Course classes are 8pm to 10pm on Tuesdays, and 12pm to 3pm on Saturdays. This last weekend (16 February), we sent a team of five to the Welsh Open teams event. Our team made it out of the pools before loosing to Manchester (who then came in second). Congratulations to everyone involved! It was a great set of matches to watch.
